The Crazy Shoe

Because Morgan's left leg is shorter than the other, he had to get a shoe customized.

We paid $120 for this!

Here's the difference between his other shoe. Crazy huh? It's taller than any other shoe I've worn. Hopefully it will do it's job.

6 Weeks Old

I can't believe it! Noel is growing so fast. She is such a joy. Poor thing is colicky so it seems that most things I eat she doesn't agree with. We are tryig to figure all of that out. She has been doing well at night(of course, now that I say that she won't anymore). She slept 6 1/2 hours in a row lastnight! That's a first but she didn't really sleep much throughout the day yesterday. Yesterday by far was her fussiest day. Morgan is a huge help! I couldn't have married better. He's wonderful and amazing and soooo patient. He's such a good father.

Can you find Noel? I put her in a blanket by the unfolded laundry on our bed so that I could fold it and kind of lost her for a second:)

Here's a couple cute pictures of Morgan with his daughter.

Some more pictures. She is a doll:)

I love being a mom!

"Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree..."

We got our Christmas tree last Thursday night! Here's some pictures!

Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland...

Last week it snowed here in Shingle Springs and all the way down to some parts of the Bay Area!! We had quite an adventure. In the middle of the night a transformer blew, and when that happens here, it sounds like an explosion. So all of the power went out! I love it when it does that! Storms are always so exciting to me and all of the adventure that comes with it. It was about 4am give or take a half hour or so. Morgan went to look outside and it was snowing like crazy! Trees were snapping in half, trees were falling, it was wonderful. I bundled up Noel and cuddled her. Just before 8am Morgan tried to get to work but couldn't get out of our driveway. We then found out there were trees all over the roads and cars in ditches. Work was cancelled for Morgan! With no heat, the temperature fell really fast in our little single-wide. We couldn't take it anymore and asked to be pulled out of our driveway so we could go to my parents where they had a nice warm stove. We eventually got there around 1pm. We found out that the power came on in the late evening at our place but we ended up spending the night because the clouds went away and temperatures dropped into the 20's and teens so there was no way Morgan would be able to get out of our driveway in the morning for work. The snow stayed for a few days! It was wonderful!

Noel and I were hanging out the following morning at my parents and I snapped a picture of her smiling.

A few recent pics...

Here's some pictures from the last few weeks since Noel's birth.

She's already starting to pray.

Noel in a cute outfit just before her first blowout.

Before her bath because of the blowout.

We happened to be at my parents so my mom helped me to clean her up in their sink.

Here's a picture of Noel with her Great Grandma Bonnie. She made Noel a little dutch girl blanket. It is adorable.

She loves her time with her dad. He is so good to her.

This is how I found her when she was sleeping on the couch. She sleeps in the cutest positions.

After a bath. Don't you just love her hair?

You gotta love her smirk! And, no, it's not gas;)

We just love being parents! Noel is a delight. Her first smile was when she was 2 weeks old. She is now 4 weeks and 2 days old. She has had a cold since the beginning of the week but it seems like she is getting a little better.
