Noel's latest

Here are some fun recent pictures of our little Noel. She is learning and growing so fast. Also, here are some fun pieces of info about Noel and what she has been up to these days.

Noel's favorite foods
-grapes
-instant oatmeal
-poptarts
-yogurt
-goldfish
-cheese
-pizza
-banana
-pancakes
In general she is pretty picky with food because of textures and such. We are still feeding her gerber baby food still but we're trying to wean her away from that.

New words Noel is saying
circle, blanky, bath, mouth, head, eyes, ears, nose, shoulders, toes, yogurt, Jesus, book, coat, pizza, off/on, thank you, juice, teeth, brush, pretty, etc. (I think I've mentioned some of these already in the past.)

What Noel is doing
-She walks everywhere. She's been doing that now for a little over a month and a half now.
-She says "Hi Shasta!"
-Noel gives lots of kisses. She'll give kisses to each of her toys, the wall, family, you name it. She also gives lots of hugs to her favorite stuffed animals which right now are her green Dr. Seuss bird and her bunny. She blows kisses to people behind us in church and plays peek-a-boo with them.
-She blows whenever she sees a candle.
-Whenever she gets near a fireplace or a heater, she gets close to it (not too close) puts her hand towards it and says "hot" and pulls her hand back.
-She says "Weeeeee, weeeeee" as she is twirling and spinning in circles.
-At our family prayer we sing the first verse of the primary song "I kneel to pray" as we are kneeling down to pray and every time she drops to the floor and lays down, knowing it's "nite nite time".
-She loves to entertain. She'll do anything to make you laugh.

-She loves giving and receiving eskimo kisses. It makes her laugh hysterically each time.
-She loves to play the piano. Sometimes she'll play the highest note and then walk to the other end of the piano and play the lowest note. It's so cute.
-She loves books and being read to and she'll bring a book over for you to read to her.

Our cutie.

Sometimes, in order for her to fall asleep for her nap, I put her in her jumper. I am able to lay her down on a rocker/recliner and get her to go that way sometimes and rarely I'm able to rock her to sleep myself like we do for our nighttime ritual. I don't like to let her cry so we rock and sing her to sleep each night after reading a couple of books to her.

Our lil' Miss Smiley...

...who can be quite serious at times.

Sorry about the orange picture but I had to share. I love the faces she makes. She knows it's entertaining.
Watching Baby Einstein.
Hanging with Dad.

Bath time. She gets excited when you tell her it's bath time. She repeatedly says, "baf, baf, baf".
Dear Noel,

We can't believe you are already 15 months old! You're growing up too fast. Please don't grow up!

Love,

Mom and Dad

THE HOLIDAYS

Due to literally 2,000 pictures to choose from that were taken through the holidays, I decided to choose a "few" pictures to post in which most are of our little family. We did so many things with family and I will just name a few: dinner with Morgan's parents, Christmas Eve with the Reynolds, Morgan's family, and my family, bowling, games (usually "Bang"), service projects for my parents, my grandma and some family friends of ours, family pictures, frisbee golf (over the roof), and volleyball. The list goes on. We had a wonderful time with everyone. Morgan's brother, Brian, flew into town from New York for Christmas and we were able to see him a few times before he flew home. All of my siblings were in town and we got to skype with my brother Mikey who is on his mission in Guadalajara, Mexico. He's coming home in 2 1/2 months!!!

I apologize, all of these pictures are all very out of order.

A fun family photo we took while everyone was here. My sister Emilie, photoshopped Mikey into each photo. Can you find him in this one?

Playing the game of "Bang" (an italian card game). If you look closely, you will see a gun on the table. (A pellet gun my mom got for Christmas;)

Talking to Mikey on Skype. Do you see him waving? We all had such a good chat with him! I sure miss that kid.

My two most favoritest people in the whole wide world.

Our cutie.
Just hanging around.
Another activity we did was learn how to do the waltz and the cha-cha. Kareena taught us all how to. She's amazing! Noel tried a few moves herself.
Watching volleyball.
Noel snuggling with her cousin Brianna, while watching Baby Einstein.
I love the close up shots! I can't get enough of them! The next 5 pictures are taken at my grandma's house in the bay area. It's so beautiful there.

Noel chillin' in the bean bag chair watching Baby Einstein, again. I think by this time she was starting to get sick. New Years Eve at 8pm we took her to a Rapid Care due to a high fever that wouldn't go down and we found that she had a double ear infection and a viral infection. She is still getting over it and it's been a couple weeks! Poor thing.
A couple of family pictures that my sister took of us.

Here are a few pictures of those we spent Christmas with in Morgan's family.
Morgan's uncle, his mother (Mary), and Grandma singing a Hungarian Christmas song.

Thanks to everyone we were able to spend time with this Christmas season. We love you all and miss everyone dearly! Thanks for making our Christmas wonderful!

Family Portraits

A couple months ago we FINALLY got our family picture taken. It was about time. We also got some pictures of Noel. These pictures were a part of Christmas gifts so we were unable to share them until now. Enjoy!
