MORE PICTURES

I've been having fun taking a lot of pictures with the new camera and testing it out. I'm loving it. Enjoy the pics!

Noel is so serious sometimes.

Fun in the swing. Still quite serious.

Noel's Experience with Santa

Last week we were at Morgan's parents home for dinner and a special visitor came after dinner. IT WAS SANTA! He came especially for Noel to sit on his lap. Santa went in the bathroom to change into his Santa suit and during that time, Noel was getting her diaper changed. When she was done getting her diaper changed Santa was sitting in a chair in front of her. She stared at him for a few seconds but then Santa started to talk and she started crying/screaming. She was so scared! I felt so bad. We still got a picture of her with Santa but I don't think we'll be doing that next year. We'll try it but we won't put her on Santa's lap if she reacts the way she did this time. Here's a few pictures of her traumatic experience. Poor thing.

Hi Santa!
She stared for a second...
...and then she started screaming and crying.
Daddy sat on Santa's lap so that Noel would know that it's okay.
She still didn't believe that it was okay.
Classic. After Santa left, she was able to get back to her normal activities and be at peace.

She's got to be asleep or unconscious in order to sit in Santa's lap. Here's the picture from last year with Santa. What a difference huh? She was just 1 1/2 months old then.

Full-time Walker

The last 3 or 4 days Noel has gradually done less crawling and more walking. It's offical, "All she wants to do is [walk], [walk]". Ya know that song?

PICTURE OVERLOAD

Morgan and I got a new Digital SLR camera. It's one of the cheaper ones but it's so AMAZING! It was a black friday deal. I love it!!! We had a piggy bank full of mula that we've been saving for 3 years and used that and some money I'm earning doing some at home work for the company that I used to work for. So here is a picture overload from the new camera. I have so much to learn but I am sure having fun with it. Enjoy the pictures!

Noel likes to play the piano.
Noel with her dad. The fall colors are still hanging around but it looks like it won't be for too much longer.

Noel loves being outside.

Shasta. My parents dog.

My handsome hubby.
Awww. Precious. She can be quite serious sometimes.
Just like her father. ;)
My parents have a snowman with long legs and long arms that I believe my sister Emilie made. The hands are sewn together so I put it around Noel's neck and she was walking around everywhere with it hanging onto her. It was too funny.

These pictures are from today.

Thanksgiving

Wow, so it seems like it's been forever since I updated the blog. It's amazing how busy things get around the holidays;)

Morgan and I spent Thanksgiving at his parents house. We had a blast visiting, eating, playing games and being entertained by Noel. Morgan finally got to play Settlers of Catan with his cousins, Rebecca and Jacob. I'm not a huge fan of the game. Poor guy. That is why he gets to play it only once or twice a year (if he's lucky) at most and he LOVES the game. And I, absolutely love Rummikub so I got to play that game with his Aunt Cathy and Rebecca and Jacob.

Here's a picture of Noel on the way to the Thanksgiving festivities in her car seat that FACES FORWARD! She graduated from the rear facing when she turned 1 and we got this car seat from someone from church for FREE! I just love being able to see her as I'm driving now. Whenever we get in the car and I start to drive, she says, "Hi!" Too cute.
The game of Rummikub.
The deep in thought Settlers of Catan players.
Morgan's Pappa, Nanna and Grandma.
Noel with her Grandma.
Noel with her Grandpa.
It was so nice to have Morgan home for a few days after Thanksgiving. He does so much! He is an amazing hubby. He helps put Noel to sleep now that I'm done weaning Noel and she's done nursing!!! Wooohoo!
