Here are some pictures from my brother's wedding in Utah that we went to about a month ago.







Chris and Kareena were here this past weekend for their Open House. It was an outdoor open house held at a close friend's home. It was perfect weather and the reception place was absolutely gorgeous! Here's a bunch of pictures of the set up and the reception (Please note the "Man Cake/Stake Cake" in the slideshow. Isn't it beautiful?! It tasted even better than it looked and that's a lot! It was a surprise for my brother. He didn't know about it) There are also some pictures of the "After Party" where we got to visit, eat TRI-TIP (mmmmm...heaven) and watch Chris and Kareena open their gifts. We love you Chris and Kareena! It was so good to see you guys! You are such a gorgeous and great couple:)

To Texas and Back!

Morgan, Noel and I went to Lewisville, Texas with Morgan's parents to visit relatives that I have never met before and that Morgan hasn't seen in 6 years! Morgan's brother Brian met up with us on Friday. We flew out there Thursday the 15th of April and flew back home the following Monday. We stayed at his grandparents home. Morgan has such awesome relatives. It was so nice to meet all of them. They were so accomodating and sweet. We visited a lot and were able to relax a lot too which was so nice. We were able to take a couple of walks while we were there and go to church on Sunday which was refreshing as usual. Luckily the weather wasn't hot and humid while we were there. Two Thumbs Up!

For those of you with children this may be a bit of wonderful information you may need. Noel was constipated this last week. She hadn't gone poopy in 9 days! Poor thing! We were so worried and the doctor never called us back about what to do but a friend recommended Pedia-Lax to us who's doctor recommended to them and said to use a quarter to half the amount recommended if younger than 2 years of age. Pedia-Lax is a "Liquid Glycerin Suppository" and is supposed to be used for 2 to 5 year old kids. Let me tell you, the cork was UNCORKED within 5 minutes of using the stuff and then 30 minutes later! We recommend it! We were soooo relieved and so was Noel.

Thank you Pedia-Lax! We give you two of these suckers!

Midnight chats and...shotgun shooting?

So lastnight, Morgan and I were just laying in bed talking for about a half hour or so before we said our prayers. After we were about finished with our conversation, Morgan stated that he was fading. I then pulled out my scriptures to read just a few verses silently to myself before I went to bed and I wasn't any longer than 2 minutes and this is how the next minute played out:

Terie: "Morgan, did you set your alarm?"

Morgan: "Mmhhh."

Terie: "You should probably set it before you get too sleepy."

Morgan: "Ours has ammo."

Terie : "What?!"

Morgan: "Ours has ammo."

Terie: "Huh?!"

Morgan: "Ours has ammo...." Morgan then opens his eyes and says while starting to laugh, "I was dreaming about shotgun shooting! I'm so embarrassed!" He rolls over and we are both laughing SO HARD! Morgan falls asleep so fast, literally within the drop of a hat. It's almost as if he is narcoleptic. I am so jealous because it always takes me forever to fall asleep. He was already dreaming about shotgun shooting 2 minutes after we finished our conversation.

A few minutes later, he had fallen asleep again and I randomly started laughing again because I was thinking about what had just happened and he then woke up and said something like, "I was already just dreaming about fat people with bad grammar." Ladies and gentleman, MY MAN is HILARIOUS!

I love him.

Buckle 'em up!

I'd prefer not sharing this experience but I hope that it will help in any future decisions that any of you readers with little ones might make. Yesterday I put Noel in her bouncer on the dining room table while I did dishes with my back to her. I did not buckle her in. For the last month (it should be "since she was born") or so I usually would buckle her in eventhough she doesn't sit up on her own. I know, I know, pretty stupid. Every once in a while I'd turn around and talk to her and tickle her and make faces. She was so happy. I continued doing the dishes and all of a sudden I heard a thud and Noel screaming and I turned around and she was on her tummy on the kitchen floor behind me with the bouncer on top of her. I instantly started bawling and I picked her up and looked at her face to see if she was bleeding and she wasn't. Hysterically I was saying, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Are you okay? I'm sorry!" I called Morgan at work seconds later and she had surprisingly stopped crying by the time he got on the phone. She had a red area on her forehead but nothing else seemed to look bad. I called my mom and she said to make sure her eyes were dialating by shining a light in her eyes and make sure she doesn't fall asleep anytime soon. Her eyes were dialating fine. I called her doctor's office and they said to keep an eye on her and if she starts throwing up a lot then that could mean a concussion and to make sure her eyes equally dialate and that they track moving objects equally. She didn't even get a goose egg, just a little red line above her eyebrow which looked like she scratched herself like she usually does. I'm still kicking myself for not buckling her in and I'm prety sure I'll never get over it. I tear up just thinking about it. I don't know how it all happened but it happened so fast and I'm so grateful that she is okay. I just felt like I should share this because eventhough she's okay, she very well could've seriously been injured. Someone must have been watching over her.

So "Buckle 'em up!" Whether it be a bouncer a carseat or one of those new baby swing thingys, buckle 'em up. Most of you if not all of you with little ones or who babysit do this but for those who think, "Just this one time won't hurt him/her", just do it. You'll never regret buckling 'em up, but you will regret not doing so.

Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter. On sunday evening we went to Morgan's parents and had a lovely dinner and spent a lot of much needed time visiting.

General Conference this last weekend was amazing! Boy, there was a lot of things that I learned on how to be a good mother. It was all very inspiring and I hope and pray that I can be a better wife, mother, daughter and person.

She was the center of attention;)

Noel is now 5 months old and she started rolling over about a month ago or so. She recently has been doing it more and it is so fun to watch her grow. We see changes in her daily. Here is proof of her rolling over and no, I did not position her on her side and then she rolled over. I started videoing once it looked like she was going to roll over.
