Everything but the...

wedding pictures.

This last weekend we went to Utah to see my brother Chris get married in the temple! He is now married and on his honeymoon with his sweet WIFE Kareena (Sorensen) Watkins in Mexico! It was a blur of a weekend which consisted of family time, lunch with my grandpa, the sealing, luncheon, a short visit with a very close friend of mine, TUCANO'S and the reception. We had a blast! Here are some pictures of everything but Chris and Kareena's wedding pictures. I wasn't sure if I should post any before Chris and Kareena do since it was their wedding and all. They are such a beautiful couple. We are so happy for them and we love them very much. I'm so grateful that there is a way that we can be forever with our families. Temples are so wonderful!

The day before the wedding we went out to Chuck-A-Rama with my grandpa (my dad's dad). He loves "Chuckies"!

Our little family at the Salt Lake Temple.

Audrey Gomm, Les and Maddy, my Aunt Patrice and my Grandma. It was so cold, windy and a little snowy, so they were smart to take cover.

Emilie and Charlie.

Ben and Myles.

What's neat about this picture is I just made the picture brighter because it was pretty dark. Her eyes are soooo stinkin' blue!
Noel laughing with her Dad.

Ben went out to play with the kids in the backyard and Morgan went and joined him.
Adam was sooooo tired.
My nephew S-Myles.
Saturday morning, we met up with my really good friend Melese, her husband Kyle and their 6 month old Lily. We met them at Ihop. It was fantastic food and great company! Thanks for visiting with us!

Saturday we all went to Tucano's! It is THEE best restaurant you will ever eat at. Let's just say, MEAT, lots of meat!

Noel loves water through a straw.

Adam and Mya.
Leslie and her youngest, Maddy. Poor Maddy wasn't feeling well at all.
My handsome hubby and our adorable Noel.
Kissy face.

A few pictures from the reception.

Here's a picture of my friend Jessica (Gomm) Kimball, her husband Steve, their little boy Alex, Chris Gomm and Ems, Ben, Myles, Noel & I. Ben and Morgan sporting the edible grass (my parents were handing out Easter stuff for each family. I guess the new thing is edible grass!) Those clever Germans.

Here is the view from the place we stayed at. We stayed in Lehi just next to Kareena's parents home. Her aunt owns the home we stayed in and the renters recently had moved out. It was perfect! We were all able to be together during this exciting time!

Yes we do!

Love it!

Sew, what's new...

Recently I made a dress for Noel for my brother's wedding coming up this weekend. My mom helped me a lot, especially with the zipper! Thanks mom! Navy blue is one of the colors and I happened to already have navy blue material so it worked out. The flowers at the bottom of the dress are made of fabric. They are yo yo's but a flower version.

Need I say more...

Something to welcome in the new healthcare reform. Pretty scary. Listen and see for yourself. Our favorite part is the woman speaking at the end.

I couldn't resist...

Today is a beautiful day! It is 72 degrees outside and absolutely beautiful so I had to post some pictures that I took today of Noel. She and I were on the grass just outside our little place for a little while and I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. Man, we have one ADORABLE little girl.

You gotta love the lint;)-

Lastnight I put her on the floor on her blanket for tummy time and said to Morgan that it would be ideal if she took one more nap before bedtime. I look over at her and she is just laying there and not moving at all. Her eyes were open but you could tell she was sooo tired! I patted her back and sang to her for a few minutes and she was out like a light. She did the same thing this morning so I thought I'd take a picture. She slept for 2 hours there on the floor!

Lastnight we had Morgan's parents over (Mary and Gary, thanks for coming over! We enjoyed it thoroughly). Here is a picture of Noel with her Grandma.

Another picture with her Grandpa singing to her.

4 month Update

Noel is just over 4 months old now. It's amazing how fast she has grown. She had her 4 month check up and shots a week and a half ago. I can't stand being there when she is getting her shots because I get pretty emotional, so I go outside. I realize I need to toughen up because I am being a horrible mother by not being there by her side so that will hopefully come before her next shots in a couple months. This last time I heard her screaming from outside and there weren't any open windows! Man, it just rips your heart out to hear your child screaming and crying so hard. She developed a new wine/squeel because of her soreness for about a week after her shots but it seems to have gone away for the most part. I will post a video at the end of this post to show how cute her squeeling was. At her appointment she weighed 14 lbs 11 oz. She gained 2 lbs since her 2 month check up! She is in the 90th percentile as far as her height and 80th percentile for her weight. Morgan and I are just so blessed to have such a healthy little girl. We are having so much fun being parents and we are learning so much from such a beautiful, innocent little child of God.

Recently I have been making "yo yo's". They are cute fabric flowers and you can make many different things out of them. I was inspired to make them from my really good friend Melese! Thanks Melese! She also gave me the idea to make yo yo headbands. I think they are so adorable and really easy to make. Here are a few recent pictures of Noel with one of the headbands I made.

Here's a couple pictures of my dad with Noel. They were talking to each other on the floor. It was cute!

Don't worry she didn't eat the weeds. She was just playing with them;)

Noel with her Dad. He is so wonderful!
