Sports Camp, Snow and a Dance Recital

Sam is a snuggler and he snuggled me last week when I wasn't feeling too good.
We signed Sam up for Tiny Tots Sports Camp again this year and he goes while Noel is preschool. He enjoyed one out of two days of Sports camp last week because he was sick for the other day.
Learning how to throw. Man, that kid has an arm!
 Playing with the parachute.
Happy Sam after his first class of Sports Camp.
So, funny story. Just 40 minutes before this picture, it wasn't snowing at all, no rain, just cloud cover. 40 minutes later, we come out and there were about 2 inches of snow on the ground. It was crazy!
Obviously the kids played in the snow that day.
Sam attempted to make a snow angel.

 Happy kids.

Grandma and Grandpa Young came into town for Noel's Dance Recital. We had such a blast with them. Here the kids are decorating shirts with fabric markers, that Grandma and Grandpa brought.
We had beautiful weather while Grandma and Grandpa Young were here. Here is Sam hanging with Grandpa. He was his little buddy. He told Grandpa, "You're my friend Grandpa", and "I'm going to miss you Grandpa." That kid has such a tender heart.

 Just before her Recital.
Um... yes, THAT is what I married... but I love him and I can't help it!
Yup, we make a good team.

Noel and I.
Ok, this picture just kills me. Noel did so well. When she dances, she does everything on beat and this picture just says a lot to me. After I took this picture and looked at it after this dance was done, I just cried. This picture tells me she is growing up. It also tells me she is happy, and she loves to dance and she is doing what she loves and it reminds me she is such a good girl. So happy, so bubbly, so energetic, full of life and I have such a privilege of being her mom on this earth. I don't want her to grow up. It's so bitter sweet. We are so proud of our little Noel.
She has such dedication when she dances.
We got her some pink roses as a surprise for her after the recital. She loved them. We are so proud of her.
 Sam hugging his big sister.
Noel with her Grandpa. I love these next two pictures of Noel with Grandpa Young. These pictures just say a lot too.

Noel with her dance teacher Julie. This is actually the last time she is teaching dance and we didn't find out until last night. We are so sad that that is the case but understand. She is putting family first. We will have to find somewhere else for Noel to go to keep dancing.
 Noel and her Grandma Young.
 Proud mommy and daddy.
I love this picture of Sam with Grandpa Young.
You gotta love this picture. Silly, silly, silly.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Young for making the trip out here. We all had such a great time and wished it was longer! We love you guys!

Play dates, Sun, Valentines Day & a lil' snow...

Noel has weekly play dates (sometimes more than one per week). She LOVES playing with her friends. When she has play dates here, they dress up in princess clothes and play outside for the majority of the time. Sam stands by as their "protector", hence, the large squirt gun attached to his arm.
The weather throughout February was mostly warm and Spring-like. We went to the park.

For church I'm an Activity Days Leader (I plan and carry-out activities for the 8-12 year old girls twice a month). On this particular activity, we talked about gossip and how important it is to talk nice about people. I made these mouth's with red apples, peanut butter, and mini marshmallows. The girls also made homemade lip gloss. It was a fun activity.
More fun in the sun, while Noel was at preschool.
While shopping for Valentines to give Noel's classmates at preschool, we came across this ginormous rice krispie treat!!
The 14 days leading up to Valentines Day, every day I did something for Morgan. On this particular day I made him mini cherry pie hearts and delivered them to him at work. They were a hit:)
The night prior to Valentines, we got a heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's. It was delicious:)
The morning of Valentines Day Morgan surprised me with flowers, a card, a balloon and donuts. I sure love that guy.
I chose out some silly Love Monster's that poop candy. The kids loved them and thought they were hilarious!
The kiddos with their Valentines Day goodies.

At the latter end of the month of February, the kids and I went up a nearby canyon and went to a park. It was perfect weather and the kids love this park. They have climbing walls and really tall slides.

Another play date with two of Noel's friends. Once again Sam was standing nearby as the protector, with a large squirt gun.
Noel had a field trip to a dentist office here in Springville. She had a blast.
It tried to snow at the end of February, but it sure made up for it just this last week...(pics to come).
