Christmas Day

There is no better way to celebrate the birth of Christ and His life, than with family. Morgan and I woke up on Christmas morning and exchanged gifts. We then went over to Momma and Pappa Watkins house to spend Christmas morning there. We wish we would've taken more pictures of everyone that was there.

Mya and Brianna got helmets for quad riding.

All of us kids ordered a custom made blanket that had a picture from the mid 90's of all of us kids on Christmas morning. We neglected to take a picture of it after it was opened.

Emilie and her little ones. Charlie, age 2, and Myles, 2 months old.

We then celebrated Christmas with Momma & Pappa Young and family. We had a great dinner feast and visit with all of them. We sure love spending time with our families!

Morgan got a new shotgun from his parents. At first he opened a gift which was a gun sock and thought 'Well, this will be nice to use when I have a gun where the stock isn't broken,' and then his dad said, 'Come over here, I think there's something missing' and he had him look in a corner, and lo and behold, he found a shiny new shotgun.

Brian gave some awesome gifts. A few of us were lucky enough to get tie dye socks and aprons. It was great!

A Few Days Before Christmas

Everyone was together for Christmas. It was so wonderful! These pictures are up through Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve we went to the Reynolds. We all had a great time with family and friends.

Chris and Marianne found a box! Remember the good ol' days? All you needed was a box and a big imagination. Life was so simple. What happened to those days?

I had so much fun cuddling with the babies. There are two new babies in the family. My sister Emilie had a baby boy, Myles, and my other sister Leslie, had a little girl, Madelyn. All of the kids were just so cute!
Morgan found the Linkin' Logs. He and Ben had a lot of fun constructing their Linkin' Log Mansion.

At the Reynolds on Christmas Eve, we visited, ate food, and then read the story of The Nativity in The New Testament and sang Christmas songs.

Thanksgiving Break

For Thanksgiving Break, Morgan and I had the wonderful priviledge of going to Reno to be with Leslie, Jason and kids. Leslie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Madelyn the previous Saturday but because of complications wasn't able to return home until the day of Thanksgiving. She is doing a lot better now. We got to visit lots and play with the kids.

Brianna and Mya built a tall tower with Morgan. Dontcha love the expression on Brianna's face?:)

The girls took turns holding their new baby sister.

Neice # 3, Madelyn Anne Johnson.

Mikey and I ended up going to the playground within the apartment complex and playedwith the kids for a while. I love taking pictures of these kids. They are just so dang cute!

It was good to have Mikey with us during Thanksgiving! He is such a great guy!

Thanksgiving dinner was amazing thanks to mom and dad!

The Watkins kids, their spouses and their kids, gave mom and dad half of their Christmas present early. We will be giving them an entire day of work on any project of their choosing. It will be fun to all be together at mom and dad's working together.

My parents had a tree cut down in their backyard and Morgan and I got to go help. My mom and I were mostly with the kids and Morgan, Mikey and my Dad did all the manual labor. It was a good time.

Adam is so darn adorable!
