On our way there on Saturday we stopped at a park in a small town called Walker so I could feed Noel and decided to try out the swings. It was a hit!
She was having the time of her life.

Noel sporting her new $1 swimsuit and shorts purchased at the Dollar Tree. I absolutely love that store. We tried taking her swimming. The pool was heated but not enough for a small baby (at least in my unprofessional opion;)). She went in to about her shoulders and she was fine but it started getting a little chilly for my taste so we wrapped her in a towel and Morgan sat in the spa and I sat there with Noel, with my legs in the spa.
Sunday after attending the smallest church service I've ever been to, we went down to Convict Lake for a stroll. It was so beautiful. There is a fishing derby that is going on there right now and those that catch certain sizes of fish get prizes! (Chris: I really think you would like it there. I belive the derby goes through October or November.)

We then visited Hot Creek Geological Site. It was pretty much a mini-Yellowstone Park. 
Just above the springs, we found some fishermen.
There were signs everywhere warning visitors to not go beyond the fence or in the water.
There were even signs that said specifically no swimming due to recent unpredictable activity. We were down there when the swimming started. It all started with an old man and his pomeranian dog. All I could think of was the movie Dante's Peak where there was a couple that did the same thing and got boiled.
Saturday morning on our way home, we took the scenic June Lake Loop. It was so beautiful.
We stopped and hiked for a bit. Noel loved her new little backpack carrier (purchased on craigslist, which we are big fans of). She was just beaming the entire time. It was pretty windy so we tried out her thick, pink, fleece-like, suit. It worked well and she looked so cute in it.

Just below Mono Lake we saw Panum Crater. We were basically walking on obsidian and pumus in this dormant volanic crater that exploded only 650 years ago!

After traveling on a 15 mile windy road and then a few more on a rough dirt road, we came up to Bodie State Historic Park. Little did we know, it cost money and of course we didn't have cash or a checkbook on us so we took a picture of the OUTSIDE and turned around and left. Bodie is an old Mining Ghosttown. I've been there before with my family a long time ago but it would've been cool to see again. Next time we'll have to check it out.
