Halloween, Noel's 3rd Birthday, Snow, My Brother Mikey's Birthday...

Here are some pictures of the last couple of weeks. There has been a lot going on and it's all been fun and wonderful.

A couple of weeks ago we found this scene in Noel's room. Noel has never climbed up on this shelf in her room but she and Sam both did this one night. It was so funny! Noel started crying when she realized that she now had to get down the way she went up.
We've been trying to have Noel sit on the toilet more so she won't be scared when we start attempting to potty train her. She is definitely not scared to wear the toilet, that's for sure!
Halloween was a blast! I didn't know it would be so fun to dress up the kids and watch Noel trick or treat. I couldn't stop smiling and giggling the entire hour and a half we were trick or treating. Here is Sam in his giraffe costume.
Noel and Sam. Noel was a fairy.

My brother Mikey has watched our kids for us a few times the last few weeks and he sure has fun being with the kids and taking pictures of them.
We celebrated Noel's 3rd birthday last weekend on Saturday the 3rd with my
brothers Mikey and Chris, his wife Kareena, and baby Ty.

We had Grandma and Grandpa Watkins and Grandma and Grandpa Young on skype so they could celebrate with us with the presents and the cake.
I made Noel a reversible apron and it looks so cute on her.

Singing Happy Birthday!
Her reaction was so cute, "I love it so much!"

My brother Chris and his son Ty. Onesies!!!
Kareena, Morgan, Ty and Chris being silly.
Mikey playing with the chillins.
I put streamers on Noel's doorway and in the dining room/living room area the night before we celebrated her birthday so when she woke up it would be a fun surprise.
I went to the Dollar Store just before Noel's birthday to get a few things and found this vinyl lettering and guess how much it was!!! Yup you guessed it, $1! So cool!
I also found these fun butterflies for part of Noel's gifts.
SNOW ANGELS AT MIDNIGHT
A few nights ago, Morgan and I went outside at midnight to make a couple snow angels. We had a small snowball fight and ran back inside. IT WAS SO COLD!
The next morning there were 10 inches of snow on the ground! Noel played outside in the snow for quite a while. It was fun to watch her explore.

Last night, we celebrated my brother Mikey's birthday. We had a lot of fun. We made chalupas, guacamole, and salsa. Kareena and I came up with this fun cake which is pretty much an inside joke. There's a quote from a silly youtube video our family repeats a lot which is "Dude...you slapped a fish". So we made him a slapped fish. It was fun!
Lighting the candles.
The candles were a little close together so the flames were huge!
"Hey Mikey, he likes it!"
Make a wish!
Mikey and his slapped fish.
Happy Birthday to Mikey! Thanks for always being my "best buddy" and I'm grateful for all of the fun memories we have shared and continue to make.
You are wonderful! We love you more than words can describe!

I LOVE THE FALL

We have sure been up to a lot around here...

Most of the fall colors are gone now or have fallen but at the end of September the family enjoyed some time up at a place called Hobble Creek Canyon Park. It is so beautiful up there and it's a great place for pictures!!

Morgan with his boy!

Me and my little guy.

These ones of Noel turned out really well. She is so stinkin' cute!

A few days after our visit to Hobble Creek Canyon Park, I went back to take some pictures of my friend Danielle and her little girl Chloe. It was a lot of fun! My plan is to do this kind of thing where  I take pictures of friends and family just for fun and
get enough experience and in 5 years or so possibly go professional.

We had a ward Halloween Party. I just love our little giraffe and fairy.
Noel, Sam and cousin Ty. He was the cutest frog that you ever did see.

 This cracks me up!
A little out of order but my brothers and I finished up with a volleyball league recently. Here a couple pictures of my brothers hitting and me standing there watching in amazement!

Me and my brothers. I sure love them!
Just last week Morgan and my brother Mikey and were sitting figuring out computer stuff and Noel went and grabbed her leapfrog laptop and sat right between them. It was sooooo cute!
Noel and I snuggling. I love snuggling with my kids! It doesn't happen too often!
Noel crossing her eyes. That is one of her new things that she does.
My parents visited and watched our kids and cousin Ty so we could go out on a double date with Chris and Kareena. We had a progressive dinner with bowling in between our appetizer at Chili's and our meal at Pizza Pie Cafe. We had a blast.

We recently carved pumpkins. Last year Noel didn't want to get her hands dirty but this year she saw how much fun it was and decided to join in the fun.
Here's Noel helping with Sam's pumpkin.
 The finished products and.... Morgan.
