This past weekend Morgan and I went up to Apple Hill and got a couple of pumpkins. It used to be one of his family traditions and now we are going to make it our own.
Funny story: That night, Morgan was bringing the pumpkins in from being outside just in case animals were to get to them. We were in conversation about animals getting to them and as he was holding his pumpkin under one arm and mine by the stem in the other hand, he is saying, "Yah! We paid $16 bucks for these things!" Just as he said that mine broke at the stem and went flying and bounced around our livingroom floor. We were laughing sooo hard! We've had so many of those moments lately where we just laugh and laugh. I just love it! It was probably one of those moments where you had to be there but it is a moment I won't ever forget. Luckily my pumpkin lived:)
Monday night for Family Home Evening we carved our pumpkins. We had a good time listening to music and laughing while we were carving. I just love my hubby so much. He is so wonderful! I just can't describe how much he means to me. I am so blessed to have him as my husband and to be sealed to him for time and all eternity.
Here's a picture of our little pumpkin from our garden.

My handsome hubby gettin' ready to carve his pumpkin. I love my pumpkin!! (And I don't mean the big round orange thing;)
