The day we made the snowman.

Here's a few pictures I just had to share. I love Noel's drawings. They are so different. She doesn't scribble all over the page she is quite strategic.
Noel and Sam are such good buddies. Noel is such a good big sister to Sam. She tries to make him happy if he is crying and I am unable to get to him. She'll dangle a toy above him and say, "Don't cry, Bud." She's too cute. Sam has been smiling a lot more. He was smiling and almost laughing at Noel today while she was dancing around in front of him.
We are borrowing a Bumbo from Sam's Occupational Therapist. He sits pretty well in it.

CUTE STORY
So every Monday night we have Family Home Evening, a.k.a FHE. For those of you who are unfamiliar with that, it's recommended in our church to designate Monday nights to an evening with the family. You have a spiritual program in a sense and you start with a song and prayer and teach a lesson on a spiritual topic you feel is important to teach to your kids, typically there is an activity, followed by a closing prayer and then dessert. Well, we've been doing well with that and Morgan and I will take turns with teaching the lessons which are at most 5 minutes long or so. Last week the topic was "Obedience" and after the lesson was taught, we both looked at Noel to see if she got it and she said, "Jesus Christ loves you." I instantly teared up. She then said something along the lines of, "You listen when Daddy says come here." We were both amazed that she actually got something from the lesson and that she understood. It was such a wonderful moment for us as her parents.
Then tonight, the topic was "Temples" and we sang the song from our church, "I love to see the temple." After the prayer and as Morgan started with the lesson he said, "Noel, Heavenly Father loves us very much," Noel then said something along the lines of going in the temple. It was so cute! She knew what we were talking about from the song! After Family Home Evening was over she then picked up the picture of the temple and was telling us about Jesus Christ and the temple. It's so great to know she listens and she gets something from the lessons each Monday night! We just love Noel. She is such a joy. She is such a sweetheart. Everyday she'll tell us she loves us and if we hurt ourselves she'll run over and say, "Awww, are you okay?" in the most concerned, tenderhearted voice.
It's great to be a parent.
