A couple quick stories...
Last week I was in the kitchen doing dishes and Noel and Sam were playing happily with their toys (or so I thought). I heard a strange noise that sounded like a fuse was blown but I heard it coming from the hallway. I ran around the corner and Noel was pinned up against the opposing wall to this outlet below. She was wide eyed and looked extremely nervous and scared and was shaking a little. There was a night light in the outlet at the time and she thought it was a great idea to hang a hanger on it. Once I saw all of that I asked her if she was okay and she said "yah" but was still shaky and scared. I gave her some hugs and took the hanger off of the night light very carefully and took some pictures. She later was explaining to me that there was fire and it was very scary. I don't think she was literally shocked because luckily the majority of the hanger was plastic except for the top part.
Good bye night light!
One more story.
A few days ago I finished putting Sam down for a nap, came out of his bedroom, sat down on the couch next to Noel where she was snuggled up in a blanket. She was kind of hiding under the blanket and pointed over towards the tv area and said, "Mommy. Look. There are scary eyes." I looked over and this is what I saw. The light was reflecting off of the top of a pot from her play kitchen creating these "scary eyes" on the wall. How scary is that? I started laughing so hard and told her she doesn't need to be scared and I moved the top
of the pot and she saw that it wasn't real.
