My dad came to visit for a few days. We played games, made s'mores, went to the park and went fishing. It was lots of fun.
Lil' buddies.
My dad with Libby.
Morgan planned to shoot off his rockets that he put together himself but they ended up not working. The kids enjoyed watching him set everything up though.
Easter morning.
Easter Egg hunt with Chris, Kareena, Ty and Libby.
It was General Conference weekend where we were able to hear our Prophet speak as well as some of the leaders of the church. The kids did so well during conference.
Noel drew a picture for the Easter Bunny. It says "THANK YOU FOR EGGS" (She gets mixed up with the "th" and "sh" but this was the first time she's ever written something out completely on her own. I love watching her progress.) Isn't this just too cute!?
Sam diving into the blanket cupboard.
Making "Empty Tomb Rolls" with the kids. These are the coolest and so easy! You roll marshmallows in melted butter, then dip it in cinnamon sugar, and place it in crescent roll dough, sealing all edges and then dipping the top of the dough into the butter and then cinnamon sugar (pretty much creating a cinnamon roll with a marshmallow inside). The marshmallow represent Jesus, the crescent roll dough represents the tomb and after these are baked, the roll (tomb) is empty and the marshmallow is no longer there, therefore representing the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
