Wright's Lake & Union Valley Camping Trip

August 22nd Morgan and I went camping with my parents, and Chris and his girlfriend Marianne for a night. It was so much fun. When we first got there on Friday we set up camp and then walked to Wrights Lake to go fishing. Morgan fished for a little while without any luck. Chris and Marianne finished with the kayaks (which were borrowed from some family friends, thanks Mark and Audrey!) and brought them over to us. For the next couple hours Morgan and I went kayaking for the first time ever. We went down this beautiful river. The water was so still that the relections on the water looked so real. Morgan, Chris and my dad went fishing later that evening without any luck, again. The following day we packed up camp and went to Union Valley where we went jet skiing (in which the jet skis were borrowed from some other family friends, thanks Cal and Debora!). It was sooooo much fun!

This is a picture of one of those beautiful reflections.

My Little Fisherman - He's so handsome!

Recently Morgan and his dad and brother went deep sea fishing. They all had a blast. They picked up Morgan at 2:30 in the am and went to fish Bodega Bay. Supposedly they caught a lot of Ling Cod and another type of fish which I do not remember the name of. Morgan said they all had a lot of fun. We look forward to having a major fish fry in the near future.

This is one that Morgan caught. Isn't it a beauty!?

Reflecting on the most amazing day of our lives...

Lately I have been reflecting on the day we were sealed and married for time and all eternity. It's so amazing to me that we have this wonderful opportunity to be with those we love, for eternity. It meant everything in the world to me that such a wonderful "Young" man would choose me. It was the most amazing day of our lives. Our lives are forever changed.

Morgan's Reinactment of our Picnic on his birthday...

As Morgan left for work yesterday morning he said he left something for me on the computer. I quickly turned it on and found this cute little picture he created the night before for me. It's a reinactment of our picnic at the fountain off Green Valley road near the church down there. He's so cute and sweet!

July 26th, 2008

It was a bright and beautiful day on Saturday July 26th, 2008. It was 23 years ago to that day that my husband, Morgan, was born. I am so grateful for that day and to my Heavenly Father for Morgan. I've been so blessed to have him in my life. On his birthday I made him go to work so that I could get everything ready at our apartment for him for his birthday. I called him up after I had most things in order and he said, "Can I please come home? I don't want to work anymore." I felt so bad that I made him work but I hoped the rest of his day would make up for it. He came home and I blindfolded him and took him to the place where we had our engagement pictures taken to have a picnic. It was a good day.

My parents, Morgan and I went up to Sly Park the following Monday after his birthday to try out Morgan's new fishing pole and tackle that he got for his birthday. Morgan and my dad went down to the water to fish while my mom and I prepared scones to have along with our KFC. At this time we also celebrated my mom's birthday which happened a couple weeks back when she was out of town. I'm so grateful to my Heavenly Father for such a wonderful mother. My family is so blessed to have her as our mom. I love you Mom! We had a good time that evening. It was beautiful up in the mountains.
