Seconds after her arrival...

When Noel first arrived and they put her on my chest it was the most tender, spiritual moment in our lives. When she was born there was such a peaceful feeling in the room. She cried for 5-10 seconds and then when they put her on my chest she stopped. We loved the name Noel originally and hoped she would look like the name, and when she was born we just knew because of how calm she was that her name would be Noel Christine Young.

I'M A TICKING TIME BOMB!

THERE'S ABOUT 4 MORE DAYS TIL' MY DUE DATE and I just wanted to say before all of the excitement happens that I am so grateful for the blessing that Morgan and I have of becoming parents. I cannot fathom what it is going to be like to hold her in our arms for the first time but I do know that I've always wanted to be a mom and I know that it will be WONDERFUL especially with the most amazing husband by my side.

The other night Morgan grabbed some of our baby's pants, stuffed them with paper towels, stuck them on his head and started dancing around. I thought I would share a little bit of the hilarity. He always continues to make me laugh! He makes me so happy. Enjoy the video clips! ;)

The agreement was if I was going to video him, he would have to video me. So here's a clip of me attempting to dance but I just felt so goofy being so large is stature and all. Yes, we are a strange couple, it's okay to think that. But we're loving life.

BABY'S ROOM = COMPLETE

The baby's room is finally done!

Morgan got me a Rocker/Glider and we just love it! It's so comfy!

Here's a picture of what our living room now looks like with the treadmill and all of the rearrangements.

Now we are just waiting for her arrival! We are so very excited. 11 days left til' my due date! I've been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions and I am almost dialated to 1 cm!!! I've been like that for 3 weeks now! The doctor says she thinks she will be around 8 lbs and she thinks she will be long. I am having the hardest time getting to sleep and when I finally do get to sleep I have to get up to use the restroom AGAIN. I'm pretty much uncomfortable 99% of the day and night. I feel a lot of pressure on my back, especially my ribcage, so sitting for long periods of time is hard on my back. But other than that it's just the waiting game!

PUMPKIN CARVING

This past weekend Morgan and I went up to Apple Hill and got a couple of pumpkins. It used to be one of his family traditions and now we are going to make it our own.

Funny story: That night, Morgan was bringing the pumpkins in from being outside just in case animals were to get to them. We were in conversation about animals getting to them and as he was holding his pumpkin under one arm and mine by the stem in the other hand, he is saying, "Yah! We paid $16 bucks for these things!" Just as he said that mine broke at the stem and went flying and bounced around our livingroom floor. We were laughing sooo hard! We've had so many of those moments lately where we just laugh and laugh. I just love it! It was probably one of those moments where you had to be there but it is a moment I won't ever forget. Luckily my pumpkin lived:)

Monday night for Family Home Evening we carved our pumpkins. We had a good time listening to music and laughing while we were carving. I just love my hubby so much. He is so wonderful! I just can't describe how much he means to me. I am so blessed to have him as my husband and to be sealed to him for time and all eternity.

Here's a picture of our little pumpkin from our garden.

My handsome hubby gettin' ready to carve his pumpkin. I love my pumpkin!! (And I don't mean the big round orange thing;)

Crib & Changing Table

Morgan's side of the family all went in on a new crib and changing table for us. Lastnight we put it all together and had a blast! We just love the color and the design.
Thank you so much Mary, Gary, Brian, Nanna, Pappa, Grandma, Cathy & Tom, and Roberta!
