A few weeks ago we had our annual Watkins Family Reunion. This year it was located an hour away in Heber City, UT. We stayed in an awesome cabin that fit all of us! It was BEAUTIFUL there! We had a blast and of course it went by way too fast.
The day before the reunion Noel got her hair cut. She looks too cute with it.
That same evening, she and I had a Mommy/Daughter date and I took her to see "Cinderella" at the outdoor theatre in Orem, the Scera Shell.
The next day my mom, Leslie and I prepared for the festivities by shopping for the food. My car was full!
The reunion lasted 5 nights and 6ish days. In the evenings when the kids went down the adults visited and played games.
Snuggles.
One of our family pictures. We were missing 2 people, Leslie's hubby Jason, and Mikey's girlfriend, Caitlin who is serving a mission for our church.
Morgan and I having a noodle fight in the kitchen one evening.
All of the grandchildren from oldest to youngest.
Another family picture with the cabin in the background.
Our little family picture.
My parents and their kiddos, all grown up.
Goofy picture.
The siblings.
Chris brought his quad to the reunion and was enjoyed by all. This is Sam with Uncle Ben.
Morgan with Maddy and Noel.
We went bowling.
Sam slept through the bowling.
There was a big water fight.
Another picture of all of the grandchildren.
We went on a hike at Cascade Springs. It was beautiful.
All of the grandchildren (minus baby Libby) with their "Armour of God". Grandpa talked to the grandchildren about staying spiritually strong and spiritually prepared. Each piece of armour that the kiddos are holding represents the spiritual armour we need to put on to be happy and spiritually safe in this life.
After checking out of the cabin, we all ventured to a pool/water park in Orem. The kiddos were in the pool for a good 3+ hours. Noel's hand and feet were very pruney.
Sam and Noel love the water. Sam would take a running start and leap into the water and actually would keep his head under the water for 3-4 more seconds and he would swim towards me. It was pretty entertaining and awesome. That kid is fearless (in most cases).
Noel and Maddy in the water.
Afterwards my parents got us all pizza and we ate it at a nearby park before some of the Watkins Clan had to part ways.
Pizza face.
Totally not in order. Some of the adults took the kiddos fishing. Supposedly Sam loved it and was very patient sitting next to his pole.
Morgan and some of the adults went fishing one evening and he caught one!
