Autumn

The last few soccer games that Noel had at at the end of September were very cold!
Sam is a good little helper. He will offer here and there to sweep the floor for me.
Noel is always so good at helping with Evelyn. I love this picture of them smiling and looking at each other:)
Preparing the decking area some more with the help from Sam.
Our first snow in the mountains.
Evelyn has been doing really well at standing and balancing.
Evelyn had a bit of a cold towards the end of September/beginning of October. For a 2 weeks period of time or so, she had the hardest time breathing through her nose at night. Poor thing.
Noel's last soccer game of the season. She's goalie in this pic:)
This is how we did General Conference for the Saturday session.
Booger Bubble!
We were honored to be able to watch Mikey and Caitlin's Collie dog and her pups while they were away for a few days.
Noel and Sam loved having friends over during this time to show them off.
This is what I woke up to one morning while the puppies were still here. Noel couldn't get enough snuggling with those cute lil' fur balls.

So this is how we exit Evelyn's room sometimes. It's hard to see but Morgan is crawling out of Evelyn's room after getting her back to sleep after she woke up one night.
We tried out a new pumpkin patch and we are so glad we did. I believe the name was Bert's Pumpkin Patch. There was no crowd and the kids had a blast.

Sam riding a pony.
Look mom, a buffalo!
Evelyn and her Daddy:)
The corn pit.

Slides.

Noel riding a horse.
Sam brought home this mask from Kindergarten.
Morgan went to CA to visit his Grandmother who wasn't doing too well. So one evening, the kids and I went over to Kareena's to play, have Jack'o lantern pizzas and do a Halloween Crafty Treat.
The kids had a Jogathon at school. I went to support them as they ran for their 30 minutes. It was actually really fun and entertaining to watch.

Here Sam is racing his buddy Carter.
Then he raced his teacher Mrs. Robinson.

Noel's turn for the Jogathon! She took it a little more seriously. Her distance for a lap was a little bigger and it was outside so the poor thing got so warm but she did really well.
The kids and I ventured over to Ems and Ben's for dinner one evening while Morgan was still out of town and played and had dinner and visited.
Recently, I took a photography class at our local library. It inspired me to learn my camera a little more and to get it out more often. So hopefully that will continue. I took the kids to a park and snapped a few pictures trying to figure out the settings and such.
The fall colors have been so beautiful!!

Morgan came home and the kids couldn't wait to wrestle with their Daddy.
We took the kids fishing to a place called Salem Pond.

Father and daughter.
Noel caught a fish! Love this pic! She was so excited!
Sam fishing.

Father and son:)

Sam's fish.
Noel caught another one!
It was a good night:)
Some of Sam's work from school. It's so fun to see him start to write out words and try to sound them out. And, you have to admit that lion looks pretty awesome;)
Cute smiles from Evelyn.
The kids made leaf people.

2 Saturdays ago, Morgan was able to get more done with the deck project in the backyard with the help from a friend from work.

Finished with the outside frame for the deck.
The next day my brothers and brother-in-law helped Morgan move that large outside piece of the decking with their muscles.
The kids and I made a ghost using balloons, tape, vases, cheesecloth, glue and water.
The finished product!

Last Monday we carved pumpkins for Family Home Evening.
Noel and Sam and their pumpkins.

 The family's pumpkins:)
A new Walmart Neighborhood Market was built literally around the corner from us and their grand opening was last week. They had a Walmart Ice Cream truck that was traveling to different locations in Spanish Fork last week so we tracked it down and got some FREE ICE CREAM!

Our ward at church had a Halloween Party last weekend. Noel was an alien, Evelyn was a giraffe, Sam was a jet pilot, and Morgan was a man riding a dinosaur.

The kids had fun with the activities at the party.

Ben came over and helped Morgan last Saturday with the decking project. They got a lot done! Thank you so much for your help Ben!!
On Halloween the kids each had a costume parade.
Sam found a couple of his friends from his class during Noel's parade later on in the day.
Noel's parade took forever to begin and I needed to check her out of school a little early. She got to be a part of the parade for a few minutes but then we had to go so we could go to Morgan's work to do some trick or treating.
So we then went to Morgan's work so the kids could do some trick or treating.
The whole fam.
The kids got to do some cookie decorating at Morgan's work.

Heading out for the real trick or treating.
Morgan's hilarious costume!
The kids with their candy stashes.
Noel turned 8 yesterday! I made her the traditional birthday cake pancakes in the morning.
Buddies.
Noel wanted an Emoji themed birthday party. Here's her invitation.
I made an emoji face cake with her favorite emoji face.
The table setting.

The party. She had 8 people in all not including Samuel and herself, who came to her party. Here they are playing the a game with dice and candy.
The ice cream cone smash game.

They played a game like hot potato and musical chairs combined with this sad emjoi faced lemon.
That was really entertaining to watch:)
 Opening up presents.
They made emoji faces as an activity too.

Cake and ice cream. The party was a success. It seems like everyone had fun, especially Noel:) She's got some fun, good friends.
Noel chose to go to Texas Roadhouse for dinner that night. She got to sit on the saddle as they hooped and hollered for her birthday.
And she got free ice cream too:)
I can't believe our little Noel is 8 years old. She will be getting baptized in a few weeks! We are so excited for her. She is such a good, loving, helpful, silly, sweet, beautiful girl, inside and out and we are so thrilled she is in our family.
