Morgan went snow camping with some of the young men from our ward. Brrrrr!
On this particular day the sky was so clear (during the Winter normally we have such bad inversion) so I had to take this picture while running errands.
Evelyn loves to sit in Sam's "yap" as she calls it. Sam just loves it.
Cute little Evelyn.
We had a week where we got quite a bit of snow. This was the first of it.
Evelyn LOVES a book called ""Hand, Hand, Fingers Thumb". She calls it "Dum" because a common phrase in it is "Dum Ditty Dum Ditty Dum Dum Dum". It's too cute.
More snow.
More cuddles.
I spy with my little an eye, an Evelyn who loves to "help" her mommy with folding laundry.
Ready for the cold weather.
Noel was Miss Frizzle from the Magic School Bus in a program at school. She memorized 4 or 5 lines in it. She did such a great job. This girl is growing up way too fast.
We stayed at my brother in laws parents vacation home in Heber for 2 nights, with all of my Utah siblings and their families. It was so fun. We really enjoyed that time and so did all of the kids.
Evelyn with her cousin Tate.
Lately when I ask Evelyn to smile for a picture, I get these adorable little grins from her.
The kids hanging out.
Homemade pizza. YUM!
Sam is doing so well in school. He likes to write little notes to me on Evelyn's magnetic drawing board.
The kids did the Home Depot Children's Workshop Craft in February.
Sam did a "Show n' teach" in his class at school. He did a little presentation on how to make a paper airplane. He did such a good job.
Morgan helped too while Sam was showing everyone on the overhead projector.
Noel invented a new yoga pose with her stuffed animal.
Sam lost his 2nd tooth. With his 2 bottom teeth, he's had the permanent tooth come up behind the baby tooth before he loses it. We actually went into the dentist and had him yank out the 2nd one because the permanent tooth was growing in so much that we were concerned it was preventing it from getting anymore loose. The kids dentist is great. He gets a little tool in there, "sneezes" and it pops right out.
Sam brought this home from school. Looks like a girl in his class may have a crush on him;)
Sam looking at books with Evelyn.
Morgan got me these beautiful roses on Valentines Day.
Evelyn and I walk the halls at church a lot. On this particular day she kept stopping and would bend over and would stick her bum up in the air. It was too funny so I had to take a picture.
We've had a late Winter and Morgan has had to dig the chickens out of their coop a few times so they could get into the run.
Morgan got a new apron.
Look who can climb up onto the table! She about gave me a heart attack. My back was turned for 10 seconds and I turn around and there she was.
She was pretty proud of herself as you can see.
Running around in Noel's coat.
Noel wrote this short story at school. Morgan and I about died laughing. It says, "One day a man was called to get a red shirt and go to a bull. On that day the bull won. The man died. But I am still praying for him."
We got a good deal on admission to a place in Lehi called Funtopia. It's a climbing place with auto-belay systems that is mostly for kids but Morgan and I wanted to do it here and there along with the kids so they could see how fun and safe it was. They did amazing! I was so proud of them.
Morgan and Sam climbing up the rope ladder.
The kids had Whoville Hair Day at school to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. Here's Sam's hair-do.
Here's Noel's hair-do.
Buddies.
Evelyn loves to hold the kids hands when they are sitting in the backseat with her. The second she is strapped in to her car seat and if one of them is sitting next to her, she says, "Hand? Hand?"
Evelyn likes to stick out her tongue when she dances and when she is being goofy.
She also loves trying on eveyone's shoes.
Noel and Evelyn snuggling.
A few weeks ago, my sister had a baby. My parents were able to be in town for that. Here's my dad holding him.
I got to hold him too. It's such a cool feeling holding something that is so fresh from Heaven.
Beautiful sunset. View from our new deck!
We went sledding with family up behind Chris and Kareena's house. It was a blast. Warning: PICTURE OVERLOAD. It was so much fun and it was so beautiful outside.
Our beautiful Noel.
Handsome Sam.
Ben with Tommy on his back.
The view from where we went sledding. Kareena is on the quad.
Noel and cousin Henry.
We put out a few blankets for some of the kids. Here's Ty and Libby and Evelyn.
Chris and Tate.
Charlie.
Myles.
Noel.
Ty.
Sam flying down the hill.
He's still going.
Still going.
Last one of Sam.
Evelyn chillin' on the blanket.
Kareena took a turn.
Myles flying.
Myles falling.
Noel with snow in her face. I absolutely love her expression.
Another fun expression from Noel after going down the hill again.
Chris's turn.
Noel was pumped about this particular run.
Another fall from Myles.
Chris biffing it.
Sam flying down the hill again.
He totally biffed it on this run.
But he was still smiling. He was so brave. This was the first time our kids have ever gone sledding. They did awesome.
Noel trying another hill.
Ben in mid-air.
Myles in mid-air.
Evelyn and I went down a more toddler friendly hill a couple times.
Ben about to face plant.
Wait for it....
.......
...BOOM!
Still alive!
I tried the famous hill.
But I couldn't stay on either....
We went to Mikey and Caitlin's for a visit. Mikey had a new baby duck that recently hatched. The kids had fun playing with his chickens and ducks.
Evelyn and Remi spent some time together on their trampoline.
Evelyn LOVES Dr. Seuss's ABC's book. She is just too cute.
Sam loves to snuggle with Evelyn.
Giving hugs.
Evelyn sometimes enjoys eating peanut butter...and wearing it;)
Morning hugs just after Evelyn woke up and before the kids were off to school
Evelyn is so sweet. When she notices that someone is hurt or crying she will go over to whoever is hurt and she will look really concerned and sad for him/her and give them a hug. I had an emotional day recently and she kept giving me much needed hugs. I love my Evelyn hugs.
Noodle fight!
Dressed in their Sunday best on a beautiful Spring day.
I thought it was pretty cute and unique of Evelyn to line up her "babies" on the stairs the way she did. I'm thinking she has a little OCD just like her parents.
Noel got a palette spreader a.k.a. expander. The first week or so was a little uncomfortable and her mouth was tender. After 2 weeks now or so I'd say she's pretty much adjusted. We are to turn it every other night for about 2 to 3 months (depending on how things look at that point) and it will be in her mouth a total of 6 months.
Sam says, "I love my family because they make me happy and they give me ice cream."
This is what Noel brought home from a writing assignment she did on the 100th day of school. She wrote down things she thinks she will have done after living 100 years.
"In 100 years, I have done soccer, been a vet, got married, went to school, been a mom, tried out basketball, done my homework, done math, I had a family, done tests, had birthdays, played video games, got shots, gone to the doctors, gone to the hospital, and gone to my daughters soccer game."
Evelyn wanted to try on her new rash guard for swimming over her pj's. She then had to try on her beach hat too.
She's shaking her hips.
Hahaha. The look she is giving is hilarious!
Noel and Evelyn jumping on the trampoline. Evelyn LOVES the trampoline.
Evelyn had her 18 month check up. She is getting so big. She's walking/running all over the place. She loves to climb, jump on the trampoline, dance, and give hugs and kisses. She loves to be held. She loves to watch "Baby Einstein". She has a total of 8 teeth on top and 8 teeth on the bottom now. Her favorite foods are fish sticks, chicken nuggets, yogurt, pizza, cinnamon toast, peaches, bananas, apples with peanut butter, strawberries, and sometimes she will even eat broccoli, green beans, cucumbers and snap peas. She loves to follow me around and "help" with laundry. She loves to snuggle. Her favorite books are "Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb" and "Dr. Seuss's ABC's". She has this weird habit of pinching anyone that holds her. And, she's talking up a storm. If she falls or something happens to her where I ask her "Are you okay?" Most of the time she'll reply, "Yup!". One more cute thing, if she is eating something that is good in her opinion, she will look at me and say, "Good?" So I ask, "Is that good?" And she nods her head yes in the cutest way possible. We love our little Evelyn.
We recently finished remodeling our master bathroom. It took way too long (like 6 weeks or so) but we finally finished. We love how it turned out. We put in new floor, board and batten, new paint on walls and trim, and added a shelf with some decor and finally have matching towels.

Now on to the other bathroom;)
