Summer Fun!

This Summer has been a busy one thus far.

Nicklecade fun.

Splash pad fun.

Sam's been doing awesome with baseball.
We celebrated Sam's 8th Birthday. I can't believe he is 8. He is our fun, silly, creative, handsome, sweet boy. He will be baptized in a couple weeks!

Birthday Cake Pancakes for breakfast!

Sam requested to play with cousins at a splash pad for his birthday. We had a pizza picnic and had a blast at the Vineyard Splash Pad. There was a cool slide there that the kids loved, especially Evelyn.
Noel's turn going down.
Evelyn going down on her tummy.
There was a fun zip line that Sam just loved!
Noel ended up on one of the Cox's friend's electric scooter.

For Sam's birthday dinner we went to Hu Hot Mongolian Grill, one of his favorite restaurants.
We celebrated Sam's birthday as a family that evening.

After opening presents.
The next day, there was an Activity Days Father/Daughter Kickball Tournament that Noel and Morgan went to.

Here's Sam's birthday cake I made him for his party with friends.

We had Sam's birthday party at Coin Crazy, a place with arcade games, lazer tag, virtual reality games and prizes. 6 of Sam's friends were able to come and celebrate with him. They all had such a great time.

Pizza time!
Sam got to spin for a prize as the guest of honor.

Blowing out the candles.
After the birthday party, Morgan and Sam went fishing. He caught a trout that he wanted to keep and eat later on, so Morgan cooked it up for him that night. Noel learned how to make scrambled eggs and was so proud.
We got an ice cream maker and Noel helped me make the first batch! It was delicious!
We all went out to try to see Jupiter's moons the night that they were supposed to be visible with binoculars but for some reason our telescope didn't work right and we didn't really see anything. It was a little disappointing.
We love the view from Sam's baseball games. We sure love where we live.
Here is a picture of Evelyn in just her diaper, wearing a unicorn horn on the back of her head, dressing her doll, with her tongue out. She is adorable.

We tried out the reservoir here in town last week for the first time and have since gone there 4 times. The kids LOVE it! We've gone with some friends each time and have had a blast playing in the water and the sand.

The kids playing with their friends, Noel in the water with her friend Edith, and Sam in the sand with his friend Jonah.
Noel bought herself a lego set with money she had been saving and quickly put it together when we got home. I love how our kids like to create and build.
Sam with his lego set he bought as well.
More reservoir time.

Noel and her friend swam all the way across the reservoir in their life jackets, and Sam and his friend floated across the reservoir in their life jackets and inner tubes.
Last Saturday, the kids and I attended a Community Health Fair our city put on that had a free family fun run. It was a 2.5K which is 1.5 miles. The kids did great! Evelyn got out and ran the last quarter mile with all of us. It was so fun!

The finish line was just on the other side of a giant colon tunnel! Haha!
Evelyn enjoyed the blow up slide.
Bounce house fun.
A  famous football player, Isaac Asiata, came to say hello to his home town of Spanish Fork where he grew up and sign autographs. He first played for the University of Utah and then the Miami Dolphins.
Prizes were dropped from the top of a fire truck ladder into a crowd of kids.
Cooling off in the pool on the back porch after the health fair.
Father's Day Picture! Our wonderful children with their amazing father. I'm so grateful to be married to this man.
