Mid-October to Mid-November

Evelyn loves to dress up in her ballet outfit. She's such a poser:)
I created this fall themed centerpiece. It was fun.

Grandma and Grandpa Young and Morgan's Uncle Anton came into town. We had a great time! We went to a pumpkin patch while they were here.

Riding a bouncing pig and bull.

Evelyn practicing milking a cow.
Making our way through the corn maze.
We had some snow a few weeks back. The kids were so excited to play in it.
Time got away from us and I neglected to get pumpkins when I should have so all the stores were out by the time Halloween week came around. So instead we made sugar cookies and the kids decorated them.
The kids had a great Halloween. Sam was an X-Wing Fighter from Star Wars and Noel was a Sorceress.
And Evelyn was a cute little witch.

The kids had their traditional Halloween parade at school.

After school we went to Morgan's work to trick or treat.
The kids got a lot of candy! We let them eat it for a few days and then offered them each a certain amount of money to get rid of it. Haha. They all actually took the money and we got rid of the candy. We are trying to be healthy in our home.
Evelyn playing with a beetle.
Noel turned 10! She got birthday cake pancakes for breakfast as usual:)
She had a birthday party with friends this year. She is really getting into Harry Potter and asked for a Harry Potter themed party. I made her a Harry Potter cake.

I made these sorting hats covering an oreo in melted chocolate as the base and a chocolate covered bugle on the top.
Everyone got a wand, glasses and figured out their wizard name when they arrived at her party.

 Making Golden Snitch Cake Pops!

Playing a fun game of Saran Wrap Candy Ball.

 Opening presents.
Singing Happy Birthday to the birthday girl.

Sam and Evelyn built something together out of Evelyn's duplo legos.
We went and visited my brother Mikey and his puppies. Here's Nola, the momma.

My mom and Grandma and Adam and Maddi (niece and nephew) were in town too!

Maddi stayed at our place for a couple days. Noel and Sam had a blast with her!
We then celebrated Mikey's b-day at a family gathering while my Mom was still in town. I made him a volleyball themed cake since he loves volleyball.

I also tried my had at some cupcakes and sprinkled them with crushed vanilla wafers to look like sand (because sand volleyball is what he plays a lot of right now).
Singing Happy Birthday to Mikey. We love you so much Mikey!
Evelyn and I enjoyed the warmer weather and went to our park nearby.
She also is getting so much better at riding her tricycle.
There we go. I'm all caught up!! Yay!
