End of November through Christmas

Sam and Evelyn love to play in the snow.

This is my only picture I took this Thanksgiving! This is my Turkey Veggie Platter that I made for Thanksgiving day with family. We all went to my sister Emilie's house and celebrated with a bunch of other family.
Thanksgiving Weekend my nephew was baptized where Noel and Sam participated in a musical number.
We put up our Christmas tree.

 Noel and Evelyn.
Our Thankful Tree from the month of November.
Noel had her 2nd recital since beginning piano lessons. She has progressed quickly and is doing so well. She did a great job playing a duet with a fellow piano student, "We wish you a merry Christmas".
She also played "Silent Night" and "Joy to the World".
Noel with her amazing piano teacher!
Evelyn had the most amazing curl on this particular day.
Delivering the kids letters to Santa to the North Pole Express at the Post Office.
Evelyn has really been into card games like Go Fish, Old Maid, Memory, and Spot It.
 Gingerbread House Time!

Sam's elf name at school was Pepper Twinkle Toes! Haha!
Evelyn got a mermaid tale from Elvis the elf that visits each night during the 12 days of Christmas.
We went and saw the Festival of Lights.

 The Reason for the season.
"I got a whole Sam in my hand..."
 Playing more cards with Evelyn.
 Selfies with Evelyn.

For Sam's Christmas party at school he made another ginerbread house.
Morgan and I went on a date to the temple. We had a wonderful time.
I'm grateful I get to be with my family for eternity.
Homemade Pizza Night.

A cute note to Elvis the elf from Noel.
Sam also wrote to Elvis which he spelled as Elfis which makes complete sense! It made Morgan and I laugh!
Evelyn got a unicorn tale from Elvis so she instantly was sporting it around.
On Christmas Eve morning we had brunch at my brother Chris's house with some other family. Chris took the kids out on quad rides. Here's Sam and my nephew Remi.
 Noel and Evelyn's turn!
On Christmas Eve we went to watch one of Morgan's friends light show he puts together at his house yearly. It was really cool!
 Opening up PJ's.

We set out milk and cookies for Santa and a big carrot for Santa's reindeer.
Playing Jenga on Christmas Eve.
In the morning before going down to see what Santa had brought we did our tradition of giving gifts to Baby Jesus.
We love those morning faces:)
Santa came!

 Opening up gifts.

The kids got snowball makers from Santa and that was the first thing Sam and Evelyn played with.
Next for Sam was his Millenium Falcon Lego Set. He got maybe about 2/3 of the way done before the end of day.
Noel started putting her Lego Friends Rescue Mission Lego Set together first. She also got about 2/3 of the way done before the end of the day.
Evelyn also got Evelyn size legos. She wanted to be like her siblings and put together some legos before the end of the day.
Next post will be our trip to CA after Christmas and all of January.
