Noel is now learning how to write her middle and last name. She is so excited for Preschool to start the beginning of September. She is growing up too fast!
We went on a walk to the park the other day. The weather was kind of fun. There was a nearby thunderstorm that was booming while we were there, but it was far enough away that it wasn't a danger to us at all.
I love these Summer thunderstorms here! Love!
So we finally went camping this Summer. The kids have been asking if we could go all summer long. The day after Morgan finished with his internship we went camping up Provo Canyon. It was perfect weather and supposedly we had "the most coveted campsite of the campground" according to the camp host. We were right on the Provo River. Sam and Noel threw rocks in it whenever they had a chance.
Morgan threw a few lines in and tried fishing the river at our campsite but no luck.
Dinner time:) Pork carnitas. Yum!
The kiddos with their jammies on.
Sitting around the campfire.
Roasting mallows for s'mores.
Beautiful view in the morning from our campsite.
Breakfast.
We went hiking to a waterfall on the Mt. Timpanogas trail. It was supposedly 2 miles roundtrip but it felt like more! It was all uphill. Noel did great! I'd say the majority of the time she skipped or ran up that mountain to the waterfall. She's amazing. She thrives on outdoor adventures!
The flowers were beautiful! So many varieties too!
Almost to the waterfall!
Finally there!
Noel and I.
Morgan and Sam peeking through the bushes by the falls.
Kissy kissy.
Snack time.
Getting ready to go back down the mountain.
Such a beautiful view!
This area was full of flowers! It was beautiful!
The butterflies were posers!
Back at the car. We made it!
We tried fishing Strawberry Reservoir. No luck but enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
We had a blast on this camping trip. It was a total of two nights. We hope to do this one more time before it gets too cold.
