Lots of Fun...

Recently, we took the kiddos to see the movie "Inside Out". It was soooo good! The kids absolutely loved it. We sent this picture below to Morgan a few hours before he got home from work that day, to show how excited they were to go see the movie later on.
Noel being so silly. Love her.
At the movies.
One of the recent evenings, I went in to check on Samuel for one reason or another after we had just put the kids to bed and as I walked in, this is how he was sitting and this is the face he was giving me. Oh. My. Word. It was hilarious and creepy all at the same time. He cracks us up all the time.
We finally finished painting our room as well as putting together our new bedroom set. We love it!

My sister, Emilie and her hubby Ben and their kiddos stopped by on their way up to Idaho for a family reunion and this is the only picture I have from that time (thank you Kareena:)). Chris and Kareena and their kiddos also came over to see them and visit. It was fun to all be together and visit, even if it wasn't for too long. Sam during that time was stung by a wasp (his first time ever) in our backyard. He just got the baking soda paste put on his finger/hand and was still recovering during this sad picture:(
A week ago, we went swimming at the Provo Rec Center. We all had a blast! Sam has no fear with the water, which is good and bad. He just jumps right in and loves to go under water and open his eyes and look up at us from under the water. He was crazy!!

Morgan cleaned out our garage and finally we now can park our cars in the garage!
Morgan also put together his new bbq and bbq'd for the first time a week ago as well.
Meanwhile, Sam and Noel have been getting along really well and wrestling a lot more than normal.
We met up with Chris and Ty and Libby at the splash pad in Springville. All the kiddos had a lot of fun.
We tried out a new restaurant called "Culvers". It was soooo delicious! Noel loved their chocolate custard as you can see it on her face:)
Sam loved their hamburger too.
So last Friday, July 3rd, we woke up at 5am in the morning so that we could go see the Hot Air Balloons which were part of the Provo Freedom Festival. Of course we had to make a stop at the donut shop before we went to go see them so we could eat them while we enjoyed watching the hot air balloons inflate.

Chewbacca and other Star Wars characters were present to inflate their Yoda and Darth Vadar hot air balloons.

The first balloon to go up.

Morgan all giddy next to a Storm Trooper.
The famous Darth Vadar hot air balloon. Another giddy Morgan.

 Good ol' Yoda and Darth.
If a picture could describe a personality, this picture describes Sam's personality.

So after we were finished watching the hot air balloons we were heading back to our place and thought, hey what the heck, let's have the kiddos play at the playground because no one is there, it's only 7:45 in the morning! So the kiddos played.

Then we thought, hey what the heck it's only 8:15 in the morning, let's go explore up the nearby Spanish Fork Canyon and drove past some fun potential campgrounds and hiking trails. It was beautiful! We had the windows down and the kids had their hands in the air, like we were on a roller coaster.
We saw quite a few deer.
We passed this stand on the way back down the canyon and Morgan checked it out cuz Elk Jerky sounded pretty dern good, but this guy was charging like $10-$12 a strip, or something like that. Oh well.
Then it was the 4th of July and we had lots to do to get ready for a BBQ/Party we had at our place. The kiddos helped where they could. They were great.
Noel and Sam both helped me make some patriotic rice krispie treats.
Sam loves to catch butterflies and is actually really good at it and it is hilarious to watch him chasing them around the yard.
Morgan has been enjoying using his new lawn mower.
Here Sam is about to catch the butterfly...
 He caught it!
We then had Chris and Kareena and Ty and Libby over along with some friends, the Dolinars, from our old ward. We had lots of delicious food and had fun with fireworks and water balloons.
Here are the rice krispie treats the kiddos and I made. They were yummy.
Then it was fireworks time.

Chris let off a few fireworks himself. This one in particular was hilarious:)
Our neighbors across the street had some awesome fireworks. They had these big fireworks that shot out parachute guys and Chris and the kids would all run after them to try to catch them. It was so fun to watch.
Morgan putting on his firework show.
This is what happened to one of the parachute guys.
 Sparklers!

Ok, so, wow, our neighbors, the Armstrongs are such nice, awesome, friendly and fun people and they had some cool fireworks. After we were all done with ours and we thought they were all done with theirs, our neighbor says, "Wait, I got one more!" And he brings out this massive box. He lit the fuse and it was crazy, loud and amazing all at the same time! In these pictures you can see the actual fireworks shooting out in the smoke. It was so fast and so loud.

This is what it looked like after it was done. All of those little holes shot out fireworks so rapidly. It was so cool.
As our neighbor was sweeping it all up, it caught on fire. It burned for quite a while. So funny.
Then the kids had a water balloon fight and had some fun.

Later between 9 and 10pm after everyone had left, Morgan and I and the kids sat out on our driveway and just watched as everyone around us (literally just 1 or 2 streets over) shot off HUGE fireworks, the ones you see in city firework shows. It was so cool!

These were just above our house. So loud and so cool!
Me and the kiddos. We've had a lot of fun recently. We are sure enjoying the summer!
